Getting Started

Where do you deliver?

For online orders, we currently ship all throughout the state of Texas only – with the rest of the country soon to come! For home or business delivery (i.e., hand-delivered by our staff) and for pickup, we serve Tyler, TX.

Once the order is placed, boxes typically ship out the next day! We ship every box with plenty of dry ice so every item will stay completely frozen while in transit. We do not offer expedited shipping options at this time. No signature is required for delivery.

What payment types are accepted? When will my card be charged?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You will see an authorization form on your credit card as we prepare your shipment.

How long do my products last in the fridge once thawed? Country Meat Market meat and seafood products last up to 12 months in the freezer. Once thawed, our meat products last 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator, and our seafood products last 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator.

What is your refund policy?

We stand by our products. Country Meat Market offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. My box arrived with melted dry ice, is it still safe to eat?

We advise that you check the internal temperature of all meat, poultry and seafood with a thermometer upon delivery. If your products arrive cool to the touch or below 40°, they are safe to refreeze or cook immediately.

Our Products

Where does your beef come from?

The Country Meat Market's Black Label Reserve Beef uses an Angus/Hereford Blend for their beef. These are English breeds that are considered the most flavorful and the most tender. There are 100% Hereford programs available, but don't have near the brand recognition or marketing behind it as Angus.

The Beef served by The Butcher's Son at the Country Meat Market is unique in Tyler, raised to our specifications. The Butcher's Son has a distinct story about the beef served in Tyler to our customers, creating greater differentiation in the Tyler trade area.

Our beef is packed from Angus, or Angus/Hereford blend. No Brahman influences (no humps) or dairy influence (droopy ears) is allowed, meaning no "mutts." Ranchers and packers sign affidavits certifying animal's English heritage.

Do your products contain any additives?

No. This beef is grass/grain vegetarian fed, hormone and antibiotic free. We also have a full line of natural chicken that are free of hormones and steroids and fed with natural feed that does not contain animal byproducts. In addition, our chickens are non-GMO and do not have any antibiotics or preservatives, and they are minimally processed.

Is Country Meat Market beef USDA graded?

Yes. Black Label Reserve grades in the top 2/3 of Choice. This is as close to Prime as is available.

Is Country Meat Market beef humanely handled?

Absolutely. All beef is handled humanely, which means:
• Pens are no more than 75% full
• Calm cattle mean less adrenaline
• Less adrenaline means more tender beef
• Gently handled cattle means less bruising

This sort of handling is better for the animals, and better for the taste and flavor of the beef. The Butcher's Son serves beef from a singe distributor and single packer with boxing specifically for our customers.
